Things About Coca Cola

When you think of Coca Cola what do you think of? Do you think of someone on the beach drinking a cold coke and wiping sweat from their brow? Well, it's one of the most common soft drinks here in America. You can find it almost anywhere that sells soft drinks. If they don't have Coca Cola they most likely carry Pepsi, coca-cola's rival. The Coca Cola and Pepsi argument is something that I will leave for another day. The coca-cola company also makes sprite, fanta, Diet Coke, Coca Cola Zero and many other sodas that you might be familiar with. My personal favorite type of coke is cherry coke or simply coke with grenadine added.

The first bottling of Coca Cola happened in Vicksburg Mississippi. Which I would have never guessed in a thousand years sense when I think of coca-cola I think of Atlanta. Originally when launched coca-cola's two main ingredients for coke were cocaine and caffeine. The cocaine was derived from the coca leaves and a caffeine from the kola nut. Now there is no cocaine in our Coca Cola today.  Which is good for the public because cocaine is a very addictive. Though the addictive qualities of cocaine was probably very good for Coca Colas business.

The Coca Cola logo was created by John Pemberton's bookkeeper and his name was Frank Mason Robinson in 1885. Robinson came up with the name and the logos distinctive cursive script. He also played an important part in Coca Cola advertising giving away thousands of free drink coupons and plastering the city of Atlanta with banners and streetcar signs. Coca Cola has also been used in mass media. At coca-cola has been prominently featured in countless sound and television programmes. People all over the globe recognize the Coca Cola product. How could you ignore that red label? Unfortunately Coca Cola has been criticized for the adverse health effects that come from drinking sugary drinks. Its aggressive marketing to children and exploitative labor practices in the high level of pesticides and its products has made people attack the brand. Not only that but they had built plants in Nazi Germany which employed slave labor, environmental destruction, monopolistic business practices in hiring para military units to murder trade union leaders. It almost makes you not wanna drink coca-cola anymore but from what I understand there has been a drastic reform in the way that they do business. Bolivia actually has been reported to consider banning Coca Cola prior to January 2013. Coca Cola has a high degree of identification with the United States being considered by some an American brand. America and Coca Cola go hand in hand. Now that you know a little bit more about Coca Cola go ahead and grab one!

Benefits of Eating Green Peppers

Crispy green bell peppers should be a regular part of your diet because these vegetables are low in calories and contain low fat. Did you know that one cup of green bell peppers contains 2.5 grams of fiber towards the daily recommendation of 21 to 25 grams for women and 30 to 38 grams for men. It's important to get enough fiber on a daily basis because it'll help your digestive system work more efficiently. Green peppers have a good amount of fiber which will keep you healthy and full. Eating enough fiber can help you from eating too much and help you stay full longer. Green peppers also contain vitamin C and E. You are less likely to develop infections and your teeth gums and blood vessels are healthier when you have enough vitamin C and E in your diet.

Green peppers should be stored in the refrigerator and its best if you use them within 3 to 5 days of harvest. When choosing a green pepper try and find smooth papers that have good color and shape. Don't buy them if they have soft spots or wrinkled skin. Also look for a deep glossy sheen and make sure that they're firm. When you get your green peppers home wash them well because they are often sprayed with pesticides.

Green peppers have potential anticancer benefits. The food is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory nutrients. You would most likely have to eat a lot of the peppers to obtain the specific things in the bell peppers that prevent cancer but the stuff is there. It's nice to know that green peppers have anti-cancer benefits.

Anything At All

There are times when I don't feel like doing anything at all. When my motivation has eluded me. Maybe it's because I woke up in a bad mood or maybe it's because the bad mood I woke up in was because I couldn't sleep the night before. Regardless of what is putting you in a funk remember this, find something to occupy your mind. Get up and do something. It doesn't matter what it is that you choose to do as long as it's constructive. When I'm getting things done I feel like I've accomplished something and when I feel like I've accomplished something I feel good about myself. Attempt to formulate a routine. Exercising, cooking, writing, and discovering new things that inspire you. I know that finding inspiration can be hard and at times you feel like you're stuck in a world of uninspiration. When that happens do something that you wouldn't normally do, like going to a new coffee shop or walking around a new part of town to explore. Even if you go out and you aren't looking for anything in particular sometimes you will find coolest things. Occasionally you'll find that it is just too hard for you feel better on your own. When that happens call a friend and ask them what they're doing. Do they have free time and would they like to get together with you? So when you feel like doing nothing at all and you're feeling sorry for yourself. Get up and do something. Get up and do anything. The world is your oyster.

A Little Relationship Advice

Relationships can start out fun and effortless. Things are more exciting and you're learning about each other but long-term relationships require a little more effort and patience. In order to have a working relationship you need to understand your partner's needs and you need to understand what that person wants out of life. If your partner is going to be happy you need to be able to compromise and support them. Appreciating your partner can go a long way, a simple thank you can mean all the difference. Try and be involved with what your partner is interested in. If they're interested and surfing make the extra effort to go to the beach with them or if your partner is interested in shopping maybe just walking around in the mall with them will be satisfactory. Being interested in your lovers interest should not be a chore. Remember to say sorry when you're in the wrong. Apologizing when your partner is hurt by your actions is very important. Also remember not to hold a grudge because holding a grudge is doing nothing but hurting you. Apologize when you're wrong and accept sorry when that is presented as well.
